This year the Diocesan Pilgrimage called the St Wilfrid’s Way is over two days being Friday 11 October and Saturday 12 October 2019. St Joseph’s Parish plays a pivotal role in this Pilgrimage.
The pilgrims will walk from Ripley to Bishop Thornton to attend Mass at Noon in the Mass room in St Joseph’s Presbytery on Saturday 12 October. They will later walk from Bishop Thornton to Ripon. It is fitting that the Pilgrimage will end on the Saturday evening at St Wilfrid’s Church, Ripon, for Mass at 5.30pm, on St Wilfrid’s Day.If you would like to join any of the walk please contact rowanmortongledhill@dioceseofleeds.org.uk.
