The former St Joseph’s School building will from Monday 10 August 2020 be leased to Picture News Ltd: a local company which prepares and distributes educational teaching resources to schools. This will be a fitting use of the former school, breathing new life into the building and the village community, as well as the financial benefits which the 10 year lease will generate for the Parish.
The former school playground is no longer available for parking for Mass. Instead people should park in the Presbytery car park or on Colber Lane. When the Church re-opens for worship, it is intended to use the Presbytery as Parish Rooms for meetings and parish social activities once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Ground floor toilet facilities will be available through the back door of the Presbytery.
