After a couple of weeks of having Masses, numbers are quite low, and with infections going up at the moment this is not surprising. Please keep on praying for those who become seriously ill from catching coronavirus and those who die of it, and let`s go on praying that a cure will be found soon.
In the gospel Jesus tells a parable about a land owner who sets labourers to work in his vineyard at different times during the day, but pays the last comers as much as he pays the first comers. I think he is saying that God assesses our worth in a different way than we do; we let the market determine our worth and by doing so restrict our worth to something finite. God sees each one of us as a unique individual of infinite worth.
